Welcome to the TJX Talent Acquisition Website (“the website”), the talent acquisition website for TJX Companies, Inc and its affiliated companies globally (“TJX”). TJX, T.K. Maxx, Homesense, T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra Trading Post and other affiliates are the “TJX Businesses”. When you apply for a job at TJX or create a profile for employment purposes via the website, we may ask for certain data such as:

With Whom we Share Your Data

TJX Businesses – We may share your data among TJX Businesses (which are affiliates owned by TJX including T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Sierra Trading Post, Winners, HomeSense, and T.K. Maxx). They may use this data to process your application and communicate with you the status of your application or regarding any future job opportunities. 

Service Providers Arrangements – We may also share certain data we collect about you with partners or third parties who perform services on our behalf only to the extent necessary to perform such services. For example, we may use third parties to host our website, operate certain of its features, send e-mails or manage and analyze data. Such third parties are given the data they need to perform their designated functions and we do not authorize them to use or disclose your personal data for their own or any others’ marketing purposes. The data you provide is hosted by a third party service provider, SuccessFactors Inc in the United States. SuccessFactors Inc has self-certified with the US Department of Commerce under the United States/EU Safe Harbor Program. Accordingly, SuccessFactors Inc has appropriate measures in place to ensure the protection of your personal data.

Legal and Compliance – We may disclose data about you as is required by law or legal process such as subpoenas or court or agency orders, or as we may reasonably determine to be necessary or appropriate to protect our rights or the rights of others, to avert loss or harm to persons or property, to enforce our website Terms of Use or this Privacy Notice, or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity.

Your Rights and Choices regarding Your Data

To view or update your profile, you can log in to your account to make your changes. You can also ask us to remove your data from our systems or simply delete your profile yourself. If your profile is left active by you and unless requested otherwise, we may continue to consider you for and update you regarding any relevant future job opportunities. If your profile is deleted (either by yourself or by us upon your request), we will no longer consider you for or update you regarding relevant future job opportunities. You may request a copy of the personal data held about you, and you have the right to have any inaccuracies on record about you corrected. TJX reserves the right to charge the amount specified by law for requests and will require you to prove your identity before providing any data.
